Explore the Sky, the Moon and Mars with Google

We are all very familiar with Google Earth which allows you to take a virtual journey to any location in the world and explore 3D buildings, imagery and terrain. But did you know that thanks to Google you can also explore the universe?

Google Sky
Google Sky allows you to view celestial objects, including stars, constellations, galaxies, planets and the Earth’s moon.

Google Moon
Google Moon is a photographic map of the equatorial region with pan and zoom capability, showing locations of the Apollo landings.

Google Mars
Google Mars uses the Google Maps interface to show maps of the surface of Mars. You can choose from Elevation, Visible, or Infrared views of the planet’s surface and you can navigate to landmarks like canyons, dunes and spacecraft landing sites.
