The Difference Between “Money Work” and “Busy Work”

In your business, you’re probably familiar with the idea of creative work versus non-creative work. You also probably know that 20 percent of inputs are responsible for 80 percent of outcomes.

To get creative work done, you have to be willing to block off time and focus on deliverables instead of the email of the moment. But how does this apply to the money side of what you do? How do you determine which actions are money-generating versus busy work?

Regardless of your business model, you need to dedicate specific blocks of time to focus on money-generating activities and ignore everything else that detracts from that purpose.
